3. Lose weight

Research has shown that you can reduce stomach acid reflux by only reducing 1 kg of body weight. Symptoms of stomach acid will worsen as you gain weight.

4. Wear loose clothes

You put pressure on your stomach if you wear tight clothing during sleep, especially tight at the waist, which causes symptoms of stomach acid.

5. Keep your portion of food low
